Revitalization of a historical viaduct

Scope of Work: Competition

Timeline: 2019

The Lechmere Viaduct is located in a vibrant part of Boston, connecting two districts. The competition aim was to revitalize the bridge as an important landmark of the local area. Our concept was to highlight the longitudinal direction and to emphasize the dynamic function of the bridge. Light lines rotate resembling DNA strands or, as an alternative, vertical light elements to create a dynamic connection.
